Mini Bowl With Feathers

Handmade by Guatemalan communities in San Antonio Palo, the ceramic is fired at high temperature. Each feather is inspired by the wings of the Guatemalan birds, as well as the Chilmolera, a piece originally from the region of Totonicapan, Guatemala.

Mayu’s expressive tableware designs are handmade to preserve the heritage of Guatemalan design. All of Mayu’s products blend a functional ethos with an artist’s eye and imagination. Small, contributing artisanal communities across Guatemala conjure up shapes, materials and colors to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
